What is 8 Steps Unihan

8StepsUnihan refers to software that can make your computer behave like a Chinese word processor or a Chinese computer dictionary. The Second Edition contains unihan main and its extension from A to H and two supplement.

There are two packages.

The mouse package enables a few mouse clicks to find the desired Chinese character.

The key typing package aims for 95% single strike of the desired Chinese character.

There are over 100,000 Han characters in the Unicode data base. The 8stepsUnihan mouse package enables you to pick up any one of them in a few clicks while the key typing package ensures you require only a few presses on the keys on the keyboard to get what you want.

什么是八步全漢?

八步全漢這名的由來是從一本武俠小説裡虚構的一招八步追魂得到靈感｡一個輸入碼就能追尋到一個字魂(input keys code)｡又快又凖｡到現在爲止（27/03/2023）電脑裡有十萬个漢字,要把全部的漢字追尋出來,就需要把每個漢字的字魂打造出來｡然後用八步輸入法去追尋這些字魂｡找到後,壓一下輸入鍵(Enter key)字體就出現在螢幕上｡非常簡單｡

字魂是由鍵盤上的0-9,A-Z所組成｡每個字魂都是由字體的筆畫順序,跟著由字符、字根、字意,字音排行出字魂來｡(字魂也就是輸入碼)

字符(丶一1,乛五𭃂5,氵彡3, 𠂒cL,凵u)這裡1,5,3,cL,u都是字魂

字根(了k,火8a,水j4,土l)這裡k,8a,j4,l都是字魂

字體（山-iu)(𡵖-iu8a)這裡iu,iu8a都是字魂

字意(女g-girl,人a-adam,大b-big,牛c-cow,金gdt-gold traditional,木t-timber)這裡 g,a,b,c,gdt,t 都是字魂｡

字音(奥 au-)(澳3au-australia)這裡 au,3au都是字魂｡

同字意(壽夀𡔽𪤳𭐖𦓃𦓆𤕋𭉠lft-life traditional)這裡一個字魂lft有多個字體｡

不同字意同字魂（衣夕𰆊勹-d）這裡一個字魂有多個字根

95%的字魂只有一個字體
5%的字魂有(2-20)字體
